1) Service Provider

LessonHouse is a SaaS platform that helps coaches, teachers, and home-service providers organize their business: client management, scheduling, payment tracking, and external integrations.

3) Accounts

• Access to the Service requires creating an account with a valid email address and password.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• LessonHouse reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms.

4) Plans, Subscriptions, and Billing

• Beta phase: Early users receive free lifetime access, limited to the features available at the time of registration.
• Paid plans: The Service will offer several plans, including a free plan with limited features and paid subscriptions.
• Payment: Subscriptions are billed annually in advance by credit card via Stripe. Prices are displayed in euros (VAT included where applicable).
• Plan changes: LessonHouse may introduce new plans or adjust prices with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers may keep their original plan as long as their subscription remains active (“grandfathering”).

5) Cancellation, Withdrawal, and Changes

• Right of withdrawal: EU consumers may have a 14-day withdrawal right. By accessing the Service immediately, you expressly waive this right in accordance with applicable law.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account. Access will continue until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for the current term.
• Upgrades: Switching to a higher-tier plan will be charged immediately, with a prorated credit applied for the unused portion of your current plan.
• Downgrades: Switching to a lower-tier plan will take effect at the next renewal date.

6) Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
• Not store or share unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or infringing content.
• Not enter sensitive data (health, political opinions, religion, etc.), as the Service is not designed for such use.
• Obtain all necessary authorizations (including parental consent) before entering data concerning minors.
• Respect fair use of the Service and avoid abuse (spam, fake accounts, deliberate overload).

7) Intellectual Property

• You retain full ownership of the data you enter into the Service.
• All elements of the Service (software, design, brand, logo, content, structure) remain the exclusive property of LessonHouse and are protected by copyright and international treaties.
• LessonHouse grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own professional activity.
• Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or exploitation is prohibited.

8) Liability

• The Service is provided “as is” without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
• LessonHouse shall not be liable for any data loss, downtime, errors, or indirect damages suffered by the user.
• LessonHouse’s total liability, regardless of cause, is limited to the amount actually paid by the user in the past 12 months. For free users, no compensation is due.
• You remain solely responsible for the data you enter and for complying with applicable laws (e.g., data protection, child protection).

9) Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by French law.
• Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Lyon, France, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
• If you are a consumer, you retain the rights granted by the laws of your country of residence.

10) Changes to the Terms

LessonHouse reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified through appropriate means (in-app notification, email, banner). Continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
